Self Introspection

It's holiday season, which is my favourtie time of year! Β πŸŽ…πŸΏπŸŽˆπŸŽ‰ A time for celebrations and self reflecting. It has been an awesome year that's for sure. I am so blessed.

On Saturday my other half and I celebrated our one-and-a-half year anniversary in Mornington. We love the penisula so much. We realized how much we want to live by the beach. One Day Soon! I took these images on my phone, which by the way, if you follow me on IG, my feed of images are mostly taken on my phone. I try my best to keep it phone only - as that's what IG was designed for.

This week, my work will be up at the PSC Summer Exhibition on Thursday the 10th from 6.00pm. My book will also be on display at this time. Our graduation showcase is also next Thursday the 17th of Dec from 6.00pm in Collingwood. It's all happening in the month of December! Art. Art. Art.

In the meantime, my business Blossom Daisy Creative has been keeping me busy as a worker bee. I love it though. Weddings, fashion jobs, and food photography! Not to mention Gippsland getaways at Tamsins Table a few weeks back. It is surreal at times, thinking back to this time last year when I made the decision to seperate my commercial practice to my fine art practice. So many lessons have been learned since then & I look forward to what's ahead! I will do my best to shoot over the summer, I want to explore nature some more. So stay posted.

I hope you enjoyed reading my 11.30pm mumble, if you didn't get anything from it hopefully thispoem  resides with you γ€°

Let go of your worries

and be completely clear-hearted,

like the face of a mirror

that contains no images.

If you want a clear mirror,

behold yourself

and see the shameless truth,

which the mirror reflects.

If metal can be polished

to a mirror-like finish,

what polishing might the mirror

of the heart require?

Between the mirror and the heart

is this single difference:

the heart conceals secrets,

while the mirror does not
